School Trips Update
Last year, we were unable to hold school trips due to non-payment, which made the trips financially unviable. This year, we are pleased to reintroduce school trips and are hopeful that, with your support, they can go ahead as planned.
While payment for these trips is voluntary, we kindly request that all families contribute to ensure we can continue to offer such enriching experiences for the children. For families currently registered for Free School Meals who would like assistance with part of the payment, please contact jeyles@allsouls.kent.sch.uk to discuss support options.
New School Trip Process
1. Commitment Confirmation: All parents will be contacted to confirm their commitment to the payment for the trip. This confirmation will help the school determine if the trip is financially viable.
2. Viability Assessment:
- If the trip is not financially viable, you will be informed, and the trip will be cancelled.
- If the trip is financially viable, we will proceed with setting up an order on each child’s MCAS account.
3. MCAS Notification: Once the trip is confirmed, and set up in our system, you will receive a notification showing an outstanding "Purchase Confirmation Order"
Please note: This notification does not indicate that payment has been made. It simply means we have set up an order, and we kindly ask that you log into your child's account to complete the payment.
4. MCAS Payment: It will be in your MCAS app in Outstanding Payments as below:
