This week saw the start of our Mini Cadet programme at school, working alongside Kent Police. There will be a variety of sessions covered, such as how to contact the police/emergency services, first aid, keeping safe online (Social Media), drill and respect, as well as taking part in their chosen Social Action Project in and around our school. Our Mini Cadets will decide on a subject they feel passionate about and work together to make a change in our local community. We look forward to hearing what they have decided to choose and how they are going to make a difference.

Well done to everyone for all your hard work this week!

The children had a visit this week from Captain Wonderweb and his Esteem Machine! They put on an amazing performance for the children that had them all laughing and joining in. The children learnt the importance of speaking to an adult if they are worried, having a good eating and sleeping pattern, turning off technology for a brain break and how to be resilient.
It was a great show. The laughter was lovely to hear, and seeing the children's smiling faces was a joy.
Thank you, Captain Wonderweb! We hope to see you soon.
