It was great to see so many parents arrive to look at the artwork the children have been busy creating this week. We raised an incredible £319! We have decided to use this money for art supplies for all the children's classrooms! Thank you!

Our Year 6 young carers had a great day at the Three Hills this week. They took part in lots of activities, including wheelchair basketball, blindfold bench ball and making smoothies on the smoothie bike!
They met other Year 6 children from different primary schools that will be going to their secondary school, as well as meeting members of staff from their new schools.
A special mention to Sienna for winning the golden banana!

Congratulations this week to George and Kai! Last Saturday, George won the Players' Player of the Year and Manager's' player of the Year awards for Hythe Town. Amazing, George!
Last Sunday, Kai received his Gold Award from The Wheels of Time scheme, for exploring history and heritage at 30 museums across Kent. It was presented at the Elham Valley Railway Museum in Peene. What a great achievement, Kai!

We had a fantastic day celebrating V.E. Day. The children and staff looked fabulous in their costumes and party clothes. We took some artwork over to the church for the Royal British Legion, and spoke to some veterans about their time serving in the army and a gentleman about his experience of being evacuated as a child. A wonderful day of remembrance and celebration!
